It has been claimed by influential DJ Mick Boogie that the rapper-producer has beaten Timbaland to the roll.

Lucas And Husband Split

Little Britain comic Matt Lucas has split with his partner - becoming the first gay celebrity couple in the U.K. to "divorce". Lucas, 34, married Kevin McGee in a civil partnership ceremony in London in 2006 - meaning the 31-year-old TV producer could now claim up to half of the comedian's estimated $20 million (?10 million) fortune. The British funnyman has now hired legal firm Mishcon de Reya - the same representatives initially used by Heather Mills in her separation from Sir Paul McCartney and by the late Diana, Princess of Wales in her divorce from Charles, Prince of Wales . The couple wed in a lavish ceremony followed by a costume-themed reception at the Banqueting Hall in London's Whitehall in December 2006, where Lucas dressed as Aladdin and McGee as Prince Charming. A joint statement released on Wednesday reads: "It is with sadness Matt and Kevin announce their relationship has come to an end. Their separation is amicable." The break-up comes just one day after gay unions were made official in California.

The Foot Fist Way

The tenets of the martial arts as they apply to Fred Simmons (co-writer Danny McBride)--a self-absorbed, self-deluded strip-mall Tae Kwon Do instructor--are explored in this appealing indie farce. When Freds not belittling or berating his students, hes espousing his loony philosophies and demonstrating his own (mediocre) prowess at Tae Kwon Do--utterly convinced that he is the living embodiment of the art. Life throws him a curveball--or gives him a karate chop to the neck, if you will--when he discovers that his bimbo wife Suzie (Mary Jane Bostick) has been playing around. His inner strength shaken to the core, Fred tries to apply the very teachings he espouses to his own mess of a life, succeeding only in making it messier. Nevertheless, as befits come-from-behind stories like this, fate has a way of smiling on the underdog--no matter how stupid he may be.McBride, soon to be seen in Tropic Thunder and Pineapple Express, plays it perfectly straight as the pompous boor, whos not nearly as smart, sexy or savvy as he thinks he is. Instead, hes smug, smarmy, and would be utterly unbearable were it not for the clueless charm that McBride plays him with. Its a splendid comedic performance. Bostick complements McBride perfectly as the bubble-headed, salon-tanned, stereotypical dumb-blonde wife, who just cant seem to keep her hands to herself--and were not talking about the martial (or even the marital) arts. Ben Best, who also collaborated on the screenplay with McBride and Jody Hill, comes into the game late as Freds chop-socky idol, the equally smarmy Chuck The Truck Wallace, whose own adherence to the contemplative and spiritual nature of the martial arts is as bogus as Freds. As the most stalwart of Freds students, Spencer Moreno and Carlos Lopez IV stand out, with director Hill himself rounds out an enthusiastic cast of up-and-comers.The true success of the film is its confident execution, which belies Hills first-timer status. The Foot Fist Way is consistently funny not because of the slapstick gags--although those work, too--but in the pitch-perfect realization of characters that, in other hands, might well have been insufferable. Instead, theyre amusing and appealing--even more so the worse they behave. The Hollywood landscape is littered with slob comedies that mistake lowbrow idiocy for inventiveness. The Foot Fist Way never makes that mistake, and it moves speedily and entertainingly enough that its slow patches are quickly forgotten and forgiven.

Jon Favreau Waiting by Telephone, Getting Pretty Nervous About ‘Iron Man 2’

Photo: Getty Images
Despite the fact that his movie's set to crack $300 million at the domestic box office any minute now, Iron Man director Jon Favreau still isn't signed on for its already-announced sequel. Additionally, even though said sequel's been given a release date of April 2010, an increasingly agitated Favreau hasn't spoken to anyone at Marvel Studios in weeks. So, acting as any reasonable person surely would, he's taken to MySpace to make a public appeal:

"It's been five weeks since the one and only phone call my reps have gotten from Marvel. I know their hands are full with the Hulk and I’m sure they will get into it shortly, as they tell me they intend to … I am concerned, however, about the announced release date of April 2010. Neither Robert nor I were consulted about this and we are both concerned about how realistic the date is in light of the fact that we have no script, story or even writers hired yet. This genre of movie is best when it is done thoughtfully and with plenty of preparation. It might be better to follow the BB/DK, X/X2 three year release pattern than to scramble for a date. It is difficult because there are no Marvel 09 releases and they need product, but I also think we owe it to the fans to have a great version of IM2 and, at this point, we would have less time to make it than the first one.

Also, if we're going to do this, I need to start scouting locations, which isn't easy in Afghanistan — remember when we talked about that? Plus, I need to make a down payment on the caterer pretty soon. Should we get the same guy as last time? Those sandwiches were pretty good, right? Right? It just takes a simple phone call, guys!

R Kelly Found Not Guilty in Sex Scandal

After several years of court battles, R&B singer R. Kelly has been found not guilty on all counts of child pornography.

Kelly was charged years ago over an alleged incident in 1998 where he filmed himself engaging in sex acts with two underage girls.

Had the singer been found guilty, he would have been sentenced with anything from 4 to 15 years in prison.

R. Kelly is most known for his 1996 hit 'I Believe I Can Fly', or his 2003 number one 'Ignition'.
